Biography:

Michael Carter is an associate with Manko, Gold, Katcher & Fox, LLP, where he concentrates his practice in environmental litigation, representing clients in state and federal courts as well as administrative forums.

Prior to joining the firm, Michael clerked for Judge Dolores K. Sloviter in the Third Circuit Court of Appeals. He also interned with U.S. Environmental Protection Agency Region III, assigned to the Comprehensive Environmental Response, Compensation and Liability Act ("CERCLA") practice group.

In law school, Michael was associate and senior editor of the University of Pennsylvania Law Review. He was also the recipient of the annual George Schechtman Prize for the highest first-year contracts grade in addition to the John Maurer Prize for the highest first-year criminal law grade. He was also a member of the Order of the Coif, an honorary scholastic society the purpose of which is to encourage excellence in legal education by fostering a spirit of careful study, recognizing those who as law students attained a high grade of scholarship.
