Eric T. Scott

Biography:

Eric T. Scott is an associate with Manko, Gold, Katcher & Fox LLP. He focuses his practice on civil and administrative environmental litigation, including toxic tort claims, insurance matters, challenges to agency action, cost recovery actions, and contract disputes. The following is a partial list of representative matters in which Eric has been involved:

• defense of a manufacturing facility in a natural resource damage case;
• representation of a lessee of contaminated property with regard to investigation, remediation, property damage issues, and cost recovery;
• appeal of a Water Allocation Permit issued by the New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection;
• defense of a township in a challenge to its Water Quality Management General Permit before the Pennsylvania Environmental Hearing Board;
• defense of a manufacturing facility in a toxic tort case;
• representation of a school district with respect to environmental investigation, property damage issues, and cost recovery; and
• appeal of the denial of a Pennsylvania Underground Storage Tank Indemnification Fund claim before the Administrative Hearings Office of the Pennsylvania Insurance Department.
